Job Description:

We are looking for a staff program manager with experience in driving program, project, and release management of enterprise-class software and internet scale technology platforms. As a staff Program Manager at Bugcrowd, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify and mitigate risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional leaders and teams across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical, scope, and schedule tradeoffs in product development with engineers and product managers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to fulfill the objectives of Bugcrowd’s SDLC and deliver outstanding program outcomes
  • Build / nurture trusted relationships with stakeholders balancing expectations for transparency and accountability with individual integrity, respect, and the realities of operating in a fiercely competitive market that demands adaptive resiliency
  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Engineering leaders, Product Managers and other teams across geographies (US, IN, AUS) to get high-quality products and features through the software development lifecycle (build, test and release on time)
  • Manage project schedules, mitigate risks, identify possible issues / remedies, and clearly communicate them to stakeholders in a timely fashion
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment
  • Help with organizational functions such as hiring, team communication, engagement across insourced and outsourced engineering teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management
  • 8+ years of experience in agile teams building enterprise SaaS applications, Software Engineering, Software Infrastructure Engineering, Security, Big Data and Analytics, or Cloud computing
  • 5+ years of experience working across a globally distributed, and highly integrated team of engineers, engineering leaders, product managers and other cross-functional organizations such as marketing, sales, operations and infrastructure
