We're seeking a seasoned Staff Product Manager to play a key role in this transformation. In this role, you will own and shape meaningful parts of our product experience, driving strategy and execution across one or more of our core product areas. You'll work broadly across our platform to ensure that all our capabilities are fundamentally customer-centric and AI-native where it matters most. The capabilities we deliver and the set of use cases we solve for have never been fully addressed by any software product before, meaning you must be prepared for the uncertainty and excitement of operating at the forefront of innovation in our space. Our product is driven by a strong product-led motion, and you will be among people who understand the challenges of making complex products simple and powerful enough for large enterprises. You'll collaborate with globally located product teams and have the opportunity to travel to San Francisco, Prague, and other European cities.
Job Responsibility:
Own and drive a product strategy and roadmap that delivers highly differentiated value to our customers, aligned with Productboard's AI-first vision and the success of Spark
Drive the ideation, discovery, and development of new features and enhancements — leveraging the rapid advances in AI & LLMs to transform how product teams work
Uncover and cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs essential for modern product organizations and their stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, product marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and alignment with business objectives
Stay updated with industry trends, competition, and best practices — particularly the fast-evolving AI landscape and its implications for product management tooling
Exhibit exceptional communication skills by effectively translating complex concepts into clear strategies and actions
Act as an external advocate for modern, customer-centric product management best practices among our customers and the broader market
Mentor and coach junior colleagues, and lead across the company through indirect influence
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in Enterprise B2B SaaS
Proficient in product management tooling and familiar with frameworks and methodologies such as lean, JTBD, agile, and various prioritization techniques
Great understanding of technology and product architecture
Experience working on complex collaborative products architected as modular and extensible platforms, or with meaningful platform-like aspects
Strong track record of delivering products with cross-functional teams to enterprise customers, with appreciation and understanding of the complex needs of large organizations
Highly skilled in conducting user research and building empathy with customers
Experience with business intelligence and product analytics tools to measure the success of your team's efforts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to diverse audiences, including senior executives internally and externally
Proactive, curious, and independent, with a passion for solving broader problems, advancing your craft, and driving company-wide impact
Experience in mentoring and coaching junior colleagues, as well as leading across the company through indirect influence
Educational background in computer science or a related field
Nice to have:
Experience building AI-powered products is a strong plus — you don't need to be an ML expert, but you should be comfortable working at the intersection of AI capabilities and customer value
A reputable tech industry-focused MBA is a strong plus
