Job Description:

As a Staff Product Manager, GTPN (Global Treasury & Payment Network), you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our customer-facing API platform, enabling global treasury and payment solutions at scale. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and leadership to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure API products that empower our customers and partners to build next-generation financial experiences. This is a high-impact, strategic role with the opportunity to shape the future of global payments and financial infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for GTPN APIs, from ideation to delivery and ongoing optimization
  • Develop and champion the strategic vision and roadmap for the platform
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers, developers, and partners to understand their needs
  • Translate complex use cases into scalable, secure, and intuitive APIs
  • Lead cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, sales, compliance, and data science—to deliver impactful solutions
  • Use data-driven methods to define and measure success metrics, prioritize requirements, and communicate plans and launches
  • Represent GTPN in strategic conversations with senior stakeholders and enterprise partners
  • Mentor and lead other product managers
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in payments, APIs, and financial technology, and leverage AI/ML where relevant to drive product innovation

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • At least 3 years focused on platform/API products in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure
  • Proven track record of defining, building, and launching successful, scalable API-powered platforms or products
  • Deep technical understanding of API design principles, security, and developer experience
  • Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy to drive meaningful product growth
  • Strong ability to manage trade-offs between long-term vision and short-term execution
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in data-driven, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and with global teams
  • Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills are highly valued

Nice to have:

  • Experience with global card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and banking partners
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, GitHub, or API client tooling
  • Hands-on experience as a developer is a plus
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, KYC/AML, and card network rules
  • Experience in hyper-growth startup environments, financial infrastructure, or technology
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Passion for solving complex problems at the intersection of finance, artificial intelligence, and developer platforms
