Job Description:

As a senior individual contributor in Product Management, you will own and evolve the core user experience on crunchbase.com. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the foundational journeys and surfaces that power how users discover, evaluate, and act on company and market intelligence. Core UX sits at the center of Crunchbase’s product strategy, partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Data Platform, and GTM teams. As a Product Manager, you will operate end-to-end: shaping vision, defining strategy, driving execution, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives. The role includes hands-on exposure to AI-enabled features and tools, with an emphasis on learning when and how to apply AI responsibly within product workflows.

Job Responsibility:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Execute a comprehensive product strategy, aligning with the company’s overall goals and customer needs
  • translating high-level goals and requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Market Analysis: Conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and basic market research to inform product decisions and analyze customer feedback, usage data, and support insights to identify opportunities for improvement
  • AI Innovation: Identify opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to improve product capabilities, customer experience, and operational efficiency by partnering with technical teams to evaluate the feasibility, risks, and trade-offs of AI-driven solutions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product goals are met
  • Product Roadmap: Contribute to the product roadmap, setting priorities and timelines for development and release for designated assignments
  • User Experience & Design: Partner with UX on the design and user experience of products, ensuring they meet high standards and are user-friendly
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to phasing out for assigned projects, ensuring the product meets market needs and company goals
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure effectiveness post-launch
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product plans, benefits, and results to all stakeholders, including team members, executives, and customers
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong product and analytics sense, with an intuitive understanding of what works vs doesn’t
  • Demonstrated experience delivering software products or features in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution skills
  • Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders while operating independently
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams
  • Demonstrated curiosity and practical experience using AI tools in product development or workflow optimization
  • Ability to assess when and how AI should be applied responsibly, with attention to data quality, privacy, and ethical considerations
