Job Description

Ironclad is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead a critical portfolio at the heart of our enterprise platform: Trust & Core Services. FedRAMP readiness and authorization enablement is the top priority for this role—you will translate FedRAMP controls into product requirements, drive cross-functional execution, and ensure we ship the capabilities and operational readiness needed for authorization and ongoing compliance. In addition to FedRAMP, you will own foundational platform areas that impact enterprise scalability and product velocity: FedRAMP readiness and authorization enablement; Records & Document Services; Design System. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of security/compliance, platform reliability, and execution at scale.

Job Responsibility

  • FedRAMP & Trust (Primary): Own the product strategy and roadmap for FedRAMP enablement
  • translate controls into clear requirements and sequenced delivery plans
  • Drive boundary and architecture decisions with Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering (auditability, logging, encryption, access controls, configuration controls)
  • Ship "evidence-producing" capabilities (e.g., audit/system logs, retention policies, admin/config controls) supporting authorization and ongoing compliance
  • Establish operating rhythm across teams: milestones, dependencies, risk management, executive updates, and launch readiness (including partnership with assessors where applicable)
  • Records & Document Services (Core Services
  • strong plus for prior experience): Set direction and execution for document capabilities: generation, rendering, storage, performance, reliability, and lifecycle management
  • Partner with Legal/Security on records management needs (retention, holds) and translate into scalable platform primitives
  • Define success metrics (latency, reliability, throughput, incident trends) and drive continuous improvements with Engineering
  • Partner with AI/ML teams as internal platform customers to deliver document primitives that power AI experiences (ingestion/normalization, extraction reliability, metadata standards, scalable processing, predictable latency/throughput)
  • Design System (Platform Velocity & Consistency): Own the Design System roadmap, governance model, and adoption strategy
  • Partner with Design and Frontend Engineering to improve consistency, accessibility, speed of delivery, and reduce UI fragmentation
  • Product Launch, Packaging & GTM Readiness: Lead end-to-end launches for new platform capabilities (especially FedRAMP/trust), including rollout plans (beta/GA), readiness checklists, and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to define positioning, enablement, and field readiness
  • support strategic deal motions where needed
  • Partner cross-functionally on pricing & packaging inputs (entitlements, plan gating) and on Legal/Security reviews for customer-facing commitments and policy implications

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, including platform or infrastructure-adjacent product ownership
  • Hands-on FedRAMP experience required: led or materially drove FedRAMP readiness/authorization for a SaaS/cloud product (scope/boundary decisions, control-to-product translation, evidence-producing capabilities, POA&M execution, and close partnership with Security/GRC + Engineering)
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguity into strategy, roadmap, and shipped outcomes
  • strong written and executive communication
  • Track record of leading cross-functional delivery and launches involving Engineering, Security/GRC, Legal, and GTM

Nice to have

  • Experience owning document/content services (storage, rendering, pipelines, performance/SLOs), ideally at scale
  • Familiarity with how documents are processed for AI (ingestion, extraction, chunking/indexing, retrieval/RAG) and partnering with AI/ML teams on platform dependencies and governance
  • Experience building or scaling a Design System (component governance, accessibility, adoption, developer experience)
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS pricing/packaging inputs (entitlements, plan gating) and launching platform capabilities
  • Engineering background or experience as a Technical Product Manager and/or Technical Program/Project Manager is a plus

What we offer

  • 100% health coverage for employees (medical, dental, and vision), and 75% coverage for dependents with buy-up plan options available
  • Market-leading leave policies, including gender-neutral parental leave and compassionate leave
  • Family forming support through Maven for you and your partner
  • Paid time off
  • Monthly stipends for wellbeing, hybrid work, and (if applicable) cell phone use
  • Mental health support through Modern Health, including therapy, coaching, and digital tools
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits (US Employees)
  • 401(k) plan with Fidelity with employer match (US Employees)
  • Regular team events to connect, recharge, and have fun
  • Offers Equity
