This role will be part of the payments product team, building out our capabilities that enable businesses to collect credit card payments and other forms of payments on their website or app from consumers around the world. You’ll be working on the payment lifecycle end to end, from connections with the card schemes, authorizations, captures, refunds, and reconciliation.
Job Responsibility:
Leading high-impact projects from ideation to launch
Expanding our coverage of card schemes and markets to provide merchants globally the ability to acquire payments of all major card brands
Optimizing the competitiveness of our card payments infrastructure through adoption of new industry standards and working closely with our machine learning team to increase the success rate of payments
Building stable foundations for our payment infrastructure to scale with our business growth, reducing internal manual efforts and minimizing the risk for any service interruptions for our merchants
Requirements:
8+ years of professional experience, ideally with exposure to a high-growth environment
Bachelor's degree or above with a competitive GPA, preferably with engineering or computer science coursework
Deep expertise in payment processing, working on direct integrations with Visa and MasterCard (preferably on acquiring side)
Solid technical understanding and ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights
Drive, grit, and persistence are necessary to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time
Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional team
