Actian is a leading provider of data management solutions, empowering businesses to harness the power of their data. We're seeking an entrepreneurial and technical product manager to lead AI initiatives for our Data Intelligence product. This is your opportunity to shape the future of AI in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment. In this highly cross-functional role, you'll partner with Engineering, Design, Security, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver AI solutions. You'll bring technical fluency and working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, and agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, MCP Servers, Cursor AI).This is a fully remote, senior individual contributor role with high strategic visibility.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and drive the roadmap for AI within our data intelligence product, focusing on new agents and orchestration, agent activity tracking, security/compliance enforcement, and business impact analytics
  • Own the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch, iteration, and adoption, including setting success metrics, prioritizing features, and ensuring high-quality execution
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver a best-in-class agentic AI experience
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and business partners
  • Partner with Go-to-Market teams to position our AI value proposition, shape product messaging, and drive adoption among technical and executive audiences

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Software Product Management
  • At least 1 year owning zero-to-one or early-stage product launches and/or startup experience
  • Strong technical understanding of agentic AI architectures and frameworks
  • Technical fluency and working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, and agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, MCP Servers, Cursor AI)
  • Proven experience building and deploying AI agents in close collaboration with Engineering and Research teams
  • Skilled at translating customer and stakeholder needs into innovative product features
  • Track record of shipping enterprise-grade SaaS features from ideation through scale
  • Able to balance short-term execution with long-term vision
  • Customer-driven and passionate about customer success
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

Prior work experience in data management domain (e.g., data catalogs, databases, major CSPs, key data-oriented user personas and their use cases)

  • Partner with data science, ML, and operations to identify new high-signal personalization signals to serve user needs
  • Own the product roadmap across ML models, signals, schemas, and prompt optimization to ensure the right information reaches the model in the most effective form
  • Drive personalization experiment design and measurement: define KPIs (self-solve rate, personalization coverage, citation accuracy), lead experiment design, and translate results into clear product decisions
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to shape requirements for accuracy, latency, and scalability improvements
  • Scale personalization infrastructure across Airbnb's AI surfaces, ensuring the platform is extensible enough to serve each modality's unique needs
