Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and highly experienced Staff Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our products, driving design excellence, and delivering delightful customer experiences. You will lead design initiatives across vertical and horizontal projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful user experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and deliver product design across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business partners, to build coherent, high-quality experiences that are both functional and delightful
  • Champion the Deel UI/Design System strategy, driving adoption through an iterative approach that balances consistency with innovation
  • Rapidly design, prototype, and test new features based on a deep understanding of business, customers and technology
  • Provide mentorship to Product Designers, offering constructive feedback to foster growth and skill development
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, make informed recommendations, and implement improvements that streamline process
  • Navigate ambiguity with ease, driving clarity and actionable insights from complex situations
  • Bring people together through inspiring design and narrative

Requirements:

  • A deep passion for Product Design and UX Design craft
  • A minimum of 5-7 years as a Product Designer in a fast-paced environment, with at least 2 years leading holistic design as a Staff Product Designer (or equivalent title)
  • Strong skills in UI, UX, and visual design, with a proven track record of crafting functional yet delightful customer experiences
  • Your design work is deeply rooted in ideation, experimentation and evidence, ensuring that recommendations are always backed by data
  • Able to work at speed while maintaining high-quality and thoughtful solutions
