Job Description

Replit is looking for a Visual Product Designer to strengthen the connection between brand and product—bringing clarity, consistency, and craft to every user touchpoint. This role sits at the intersection of product execution and brand expression, translating Replit’s values, voice, and visual language into cohesive, usable experiences across the Replit platform. This is a senior-level role for a product designer with a strong visual design background who collaborates with other designers and engineers to apply brand guidelines across all work. The ideal candidate can quickly grasp and distill complex design challenges and product thoughtful user-first solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Bridge brand and product to ensure a unified experience across Replit’s product, marketing, and shared surfaces
  • Translate brand principles into interaction patterns, components, and scalable design systems
  • Design for clarity by creating journeys, flows, frameworks, and UI concepts that turn complex systems into intuitive experiences
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, AI, and Marketing partners throughout the design process
  • Prototype and iterate on ideas quickly, using feedback, research insights, and real-world constraints
  • Contribute to and help evolve shared design guidelines, patterns, and experience standards
  • Present and articulate design decisions clearly, grounding solutions in user needs, data, and business goals
  • Identify experience gaps or inconsistencies and propose thoughtful, system-level solutions

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in product, brand, or other visual design
  • A portfolio that demonstrates system-level design excellence and world-class creative execution across campaigns and platforms
  • Comfort designing user journeys, interaction flows, and scalable systems
  • Strong grasp of user-centered design and human behavior across digital products
  • Experience working within or contributing to design systems
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, fast-moving environments
