Cleveland Clinic seeks multiple Staff Physicians, Hematopathology at Main Campus (9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195).

Job Responsibility:

  • Diagnoses and classifies leukemias, lymphomas, and other related malignant and benign processes via microscopic review of morphology combined with interpretation and integration of multi-modal high complexity ancillary diagnostic tests
  • Identifies etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of hematological diseases
  • writes pathology reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions
  • and communicates findings to treating physicians
  • Weekday and weekend phone call responsibilities and periodic weekend hours as needed

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate
  • Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Hematopathology
  • eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio
