Job Responsibility:

  • Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provide information to patients about medications and their use
  • Compound and dispense medications issued by authorized medical practitioners
  • Address clinical effects of drugs, providing counseling, and assisting patients in managing medical conditions
  • Communicate with customers and patients regarding their confidential health and drug information
  • Adopt and manage patient care programs
  • Lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues on your team
  • Motivate, inspire and develop your pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues strengths, address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent)
  • Indiana Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent)
  • Indiana Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one
