Job Description:

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you play a critical role in improving patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. You assist the Pharmacy Manager and lead the pharmacy team while maintaining compliance with regulations and safety processes. This role involves working directly with patients, offering compassionate care, and providing immunization services. Additionally, you oversee inventory management, provide clinical care, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Taking direction from the Pharmacy Manager and overseeing the pharmacy as their proxy during bench shifts without overlap
Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contributing to positive patient experiences
Proactively offering and delivering immunizations
Supporting the effective management of pharmacy inventory
Ensuring pharmacy operations are compliant with state regulations
Remaining flexible for scheduling
Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills
Supporting access to care
Understanding and complying with laws, regulations, and professional standards

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Nice to have:

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
