Job Description:

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you play a critical role in delivering the company's purpose, supporting the Pharmacy Manager in operations, and ensuring high-quality care for patients through effective pharmacy practices, team supervision, and compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and improving patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Overseeing pharmacy operations in absence of Pharmacy Manager
Ensuring pharmacy workflow compliance and safety
Demonstrating care and empathy to patients
Ensuring inventory management and cold chain product protection
Supervising and coaching the pharmacy team
Supporting compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Providing clinical services like immunizations and testing where permissible

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Nice to have:

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
