Job Description:

They are accountable for the pharmacy's operation, supporting patients’ health care journeys, providing immunizations, maintaining inventory, and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and improving patient health through dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Strengthening pharmacy performance measures through coaching and follow-up
Supporting the Pharmacy Manager
Safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Providing positive patient experiences
Offering and delivering immunizations
Managing pharmacy inventory
Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations
Maintaining clinical and technical skills
Delivering clinical care
Understanding and complying with relevant laws and regulations
Complying with CVS Health policies for patient safety, controlled substance dispensing, patient privacy, and workplace inclusivity

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
Actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner
Notice and understand patients’ reactions, and respond appropriately
Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
Utilize active listening
Ability to use math to solve a problem
Identifying challenging patient or colleague interactions and choosing the best course of action
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Reach overhead
Move fingers repetitively
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Stoop to a considerable degree
Close visual acuity
Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
Frequently lift up to 10 lbs
Consistently lift negligible amounts of force

Nice to have:

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
