Job Description:

We are delighted to offer the opportunity of a staff nurse post on Harthope Ward, Medium -Secure Care Services, Northgate Park. Harthope provides assessment, care and treatment for men with mental health problems in a secure setting. This 10-bed unit is for men who have come into contact with the law, and / or are thought to be a risk to others or themselves.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a Primary/Named Nurse within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, and needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred, evidence based nursing care
  • Be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff and service users
  • Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services
  • Contribute to achieving all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes

  • Professional Nursing qualification e.g.RMN/RNMH/ RNLD
