Staff Nurse

• Assists in directing, and supervising all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical and financial outcomes
• Assist in ensuring that the facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Assists in ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of the prescribed resident/patient care
• Completes rounds of the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations
• Coordinates the care of residents on assigned shift
• Demonstrate effective and organized communication with residents, families, staff, and medical providers
• Demonstrate an ability to solve problems and multi-task under pressure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse
• Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure that high standards of care are maintained as necessary
• Knowledge and experience of PICC/IV management, wound vac management, trach care, medical drain management preferred
