Job Description:

Due to expansion in our Endoscopy Services we are seeking Staff Nurses to join our JAG Accredited Endoscopy Unit. As a key member of the frontline team, the Staff Nurse will demonstrate strong clinical skills and facilitate effective communication with colleagues in the hospital.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work as a member of the nursing team and perform duties as allocated by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2
  • Deliver skilled practical care to patients and participate in the monitoring of the planning, delivery and evaluation of individualised patient care, ensuring a patient centred focus
  • Be aware of the multifaceted needs of Endoscopy patients and provide a holistic support service for them and their families
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Hermitage Medical Clinic guidelines, policies, procedures and relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Promote the delivery of a high standard of care to all Endoscopy patients

Requirements:

  • Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
  • Have at least two years recent relevant post-registration nursing experience
  • Have good clinical and professional ability
