Job Responsibility

Regularly makes unit rounds to remain familiar with patients and staff within his/her assigned areas of service in order to assist and provide direction to nursing staff regarding clinical decision making and priority setting

Develop and provide education related to the care of stroke patients to physicians, nursing staff, ancillary staff, support staff, and EMS
Abstract data to meet all regulatory requirements for stroke certification and to provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team
