We're looking for a Staff iOS Engineer to join OpenSea to shape the mobile experience for millions of users discovering and trading digital assets. Mobile is critical to to our next phase of growth, and this role will level up our investment & expertise in delivering world-class iOS experiences. You will own iOS development end-to-end: from architecture and feature development to performance optimization and AI-assisted tooling, building the mobile gateway that brings users onchain.

Job Responsibility

  • Take a major role in the design & development of the OpenSea iOS app
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
  • Take ownership of features from conception through deployment
  • Contribute to the architecture and evolution of the mobile codebase
  • Integrate with GraphQL APIs and implement real-time data updates
  • Advocate for and adopt AI-assisted development tools
  • Help shape the future direction of OpenSea's mobile platform

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
  • Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and modern iOS frameworks
  • Experience working with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMP)
  • Solid understanding of developing API-driven mobile apps across REST & GraphQL
  • Strong systems engineering skills and a generalist mindset
  • Hands-on experience with real-time data updates and complex UI interactions
  • Proven track record of adopting and leveraging AI tools
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Prior experience in fintech or crypto-related products preferred
