We’re looking for a Staff Hardware Engineer to join our Research and Development Centre located in Wigram, Christchurch. The Staff Hardware Engineer will be developing technology for the next generation of Enphase micro-inverters and grid interface products.
Job Responsibility:
Research and develop hardware for Enphase micro-inverters and grid interface products
Specify, design, test and troubleshoot new product designs
Manage product designs through the Enphase new product development process
Provide mentoring to junior Engineers
Requirements:
BE, BSc, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
8+ years minimum experience in developing products from concept stage to market launch
Experience taking products through international compliance testing
Experience designing power, analogue and digital electronics circuits
Knowledge of circuit schematics, PCB layout and simulation tools
Nice to have:
Exposure to Python, C or FPGA design
