Job Description:

Build advanced UI components that power Verkada’s AI-driven intrusion detection and video monitoring systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll help design the next generation of real-time security interfaces—maps, alerts, timelines, and more—that protect people and places across the globe.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build rich, responsive web interfaces (React) that drive real-time security workflows
  • Architect scalable, reliable frontend systems and help evolve our UI platform
  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features
  • Lead technical decisions and mentor other engineers on best practices
  • Dive into the backend when needed to shape APIs and support full-stack work

Requirements:

  • 7–10+ years of experience building production-grade web applications
  • Expertise in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably React)
  • Strong understanding of UI architecture, performance, and browser behavior
  • A product mindset—you care deeply about UX and building polished, usable tools
  • Solid debugging skills and comfort working with APIs and asynchronous systems
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field

Nice to have:

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Go or backend development patterns
  • Exposure to AWS infrastructure or cloud-based deployments
  • Interest in AI-driven products, real-time systems, or physical security platforms
