Staff Front End Engineer

• Lead the technical vision, architecture, and implementation of large-scale AI-supported front end solutions in React and Typescript, directly supporting critical product experiences in Continuous Feedback
• Champion the adoption of engineering best practices—including accessibility, quality, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn customer problems into product outcomes
• Mentor, coach, and up-skill fellow engineers
• Contribute to the growth of our front end practice through collaborating on initiatives, design reviews, and RFCs
• Lead efforts in both the ambiguous and the urgent: tackle complex technical challenges and navigate the fast-changing needs of our product landscape
• Influence and uphold the Continuous Feedback team’s engineering standards—owning system quality and supporting the ongoing evolution of how feedback is delivered, requested, and managed in our platform

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale SaaS front ends using React, Typescript, and modern web technologies
• Knowledge of web application architecture, performance optimisation, accessibility, and user-centric design
• Experience contributing to shaping internal engineering practices or frameworks, leading significant technical initiatives, and coaching peers or juniors
• Strong sense of ownership—proactively identify roadblocks, technical debt
• Experience collaborating successfully with cross-functional teams (product, design, research, backend), balancing fast delivery with scalable and maintainable solutions
• Ability to excel in ambiguity and bring clarity and structure to new and evolving product spaces
• Deep care about customer and user experience

Familiarity with Next.js, Storybook, and design systems is a bonus
