Job Description

D&K is seeking an environmental engineer with 0 to 5 years of experience conducting design and producing engineering drawings for civil and/or environmental based projects. This position will provide the opportunity to work directly with clients and advance projects that include a wide variety of civil, and environmental projects focused on design services for water resource projects, commercial development, agricultural facilities, recreational facilities, and municipal infrastructure projects. Duties include engineering-based planning, design, and construction phase assignments on a range of projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Will work on engineering, writing, schedule and budget management, to client coordination and other general project engineering duties
  • Provide conceptual, preliminary and final design engineering and construction management under the direction of a project manager for a variety of civil engineering projects
  • Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects
  • Establish a working relationship with the other staff, and be an effective team member of the Environmental Services Division

Requirements

  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
  • B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Approx. 0-5 years’ previous experience
  • EIT License requirement
  • Proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D preferred
  • ArcGIS skills preferred
