As a Staff Engineer, your hard work ensures that we deliver for our clients. Under the supervision of our Senior Engineer, you provide support on a wide range of environmental projects. Your primary job function will be to support the engineering operations of our Fort Collins office and other regional offices. People skills are essential as you interact regularly with contractors, regulators, and clientele. Though time is spent in the Fort Collins, CO office, some field time will be required overseeing engineering projects, often in remote locations. Our mission is to complete work safely, on time, and on budget, which makes our clients happy and provides a great sense of accomplishment to our staff.
Job Responsibility:
Provide support on a wide range of environmental projects including engineering of water and wastewater treatment systems and conveyances, soil and groundwater remediation systems, mining-related projects (mine reclamation projects, EECAs, etc.), water resource investigations, and permitting support for SWPPPs, SPCCs, Tier II reporting, and others
Support the engineering operations of our Fort Collins office and other regional offices
Interact regularly with contractors, regulators, and clientele
Oversee engineering projects, often in remote locations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or another related engineering field
0 - 2 Years work experience
Technical writing competency
Strong technical and computer skills
Self-starter, quick learner and effective communicator
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Ability to work consecutive long days in the field under varying adverse weather conditions (hot, cold, windy, and sometimes wet)
