Staff Engineer - Trading

• Partner with senior engineering peers, working together to manage, develop and maintain products within the Trading suite
• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable solutions on cloud platforms, with a strong focus on AWS
• Play a key role in the execution of complex, long-term technical projects, from planning and scoping through to delivery
• Mentor, coach, and empower other engineers, contributing to an inclusive and high-performing team culture
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure teams are delivering long-term value for our users
• Amplify your technical ability by empowering your peers and contributing to code reviews and technical designs
• Research and drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices to drive innovation

• Minimum 9+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Strong experience with Java
• Extensive experience in software development, including building backend services in a professional environment
• Deep and expert knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and the software development lifecycle
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and make significant contributions to the architecture of complex, distributed systems
• Expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Track record of amplifying your impact by mentoring other engineers and collaborating effectively within a team of senior peers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and drive clarity when objectives are not yet fully defined

Experience in the financial industry or wealth management will be a huge plus
