Job Description

Broadbent & Associates, Inc. of San Antonio, Texas is looking to hire an organized full-time Staff or Senior Staff Engineer. This is a great opportunity for a recent or upcoming graduate in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field who wants to gain hands-on experience in environmental, water resources, and civil engineering projects. In this role, you will work with experienced engineers and project managers on a mix of fieldwork and office-based assignments, supporting projects involving site investigations, environmental sampling, technical reporting, engineering analysis, permitting, and AutoCAD-based project support.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with field investigations and engineering support for environmental, water resources, and civil projects
  • Collect and document soil, groundwater, surface water, and other field data
  • Support site inspections, monitoring, and field documentation
  • Prepare technical reports, tables, figures, and memoranda
  • Assist with AutoCAD drawings, plan sheets, and project figures
  • Perform calculations, data review, and spreadsheet-based analysis
  • Support permitting, compliance, and stormwater-related documentation
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients
  • Maintain accurate field logs and safety documentation
  • Follow company health and safety procedures in field and office settings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience
