Job Responsibility:

  • Optimize current manufacturing process of various fiber connector termination to improve efficiency, quality yield and decrease cost
  • Develop new process to fit automated manufacturing
  • Manage machine developing and building process, provide technical support to global plants
  • Create test plan for new process, new tools and new automated machine
  • Prepare and submit manufacturing reports as required
  • Assist automation engineer for the new machine, tools prototype validation
  • Create working instruction procedure for new process and automated machine
  • Gathering cost details in analysis of financial performance of new process and automated machine

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in fiber optics, physics or engineering related
  • 5+ years working experience at fiber connector termination plant
  • Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing
  • Familiar with SPC tools and Minitab software
  • Familiar with single fiber and multi-fiber(MPO) connector termination process
  • Familiar with fiber termination machine such as polisher, interferometer, optical tester
  • Familiar with IEC and GR testing procedure of fiber optics connectors
  • Have strong capability and experience of fiber optics connector failure analysis
  • Open mind to discuss the issues & get a deal
  • Self-Motivated, high sense of responsibility and personal integrity
  • Positive work attitude and good communication skill and team spirit
  • Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Chinese
