Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is looking for a passionate, quality-driven, and detail-oriented Commis I – Staff Cafeteria to join our Culinary team. In this role, you will support daily kitchen operations while ensuring all food preparation, hygiene, and storage processes meet Four Seasons standards. You will work closely with senior chefs to maintain consistency, efficiency, and the highest level of food quality.
Job Responsibility:
Support daily operations of the Staff Cafeteria kitchen
Prepare ingredients and food items in accordance with recipes and instructions
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
Handle products properly, including storage, labeling, and stock control
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and order in all kitchen areas
Assist chefs and carry out assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
Ensure proper use and care of kitchen tools and machinery
Contribute to smooth teamwork and communication within the kitchen brigade
Requirements:
Diploma from a Culinary Vocational High School or equivalent culinary education
Minimum 3 years of experience in a 5-star hotel or equivalent restaurant environment
Knowledge of cafeteria-style food production and basic kitchen operations
Understanding of product handling, storage conditions, and inventory practices
Strong awareness of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to use professional kitchen equipment confidently
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
