Job Description

We are seeking entry level staff auditors to help us service our expanding client base. We are a progressive firm striving to provide the highest level of service to our clients while offering a balance between professional and personal endeavors.

Job Responsibility

  • Works under the supervision of a senior auditor
  • Performs validation tests and other auditing procedures in accordance with approved audit programs
  • Prepares working papers which adequately document audit tests and procedures, and which substantiate conclusions reached
  • Prepares Federal, state and local income and business tax returns from financial records of clients
  • May perform various accounting duties on accounting engagements
  • May provide assistance on MCS engagements
  • Performs other related duties, when requested

  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and identify risks, control gaps, deficiencies, or opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct testing of transactions and internal controls
  • Leverage audit software and data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Optro) to perform testing and analytics
  • Validate adherence to company policies, procedures, or other relevant requirements
  • Document audit procedures, findings, and evidence in workpapers accurately and completely
  • Draft clear and concise audit findings and help communicate preliminary observations to audit seniors or manager
  • Escalate issues to senior auditors or manager when appropriate
  • Embed a culture of dedication and continuous improvement within the Internal Audit department and auditees
  • Support with SOX testing activities, as needed
