Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a Staff Attorney situated in San Francisco, California. As part of our team, the Staff Attorney will handle crucial litigation tasks, engage in intricate commercial cases, and deal with matters including trademark/copyright, trade secrets, antitrust, and class actions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in a pivotal position, contributing to the smooth operation of our legal department.

Job Responsibility:

Take on an active role in all phases of discovery
Undertake comprehensive legal research and facilitate drafting of pleadings
Handle drafting of demand letters, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Ensure effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and others
Manage deposition outlines or witnesses and participate in the deposition process
Engage in document review and initial drafting tasks
Collaborate across various teams to ensure seamless operations
Leverage your Civil Litigation Experience to contribute to complex cases
Maintain a diligent work ethic while managing billable hours

Requirements:

Candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in the legal field
Proven civil litigation experience is essential
Ability to draft pleadings effectively and accurately
Proficient in conducting comprehensive legal research
Demonstrable experience in document review is required
Must have experience in drafting motions
