This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to key financial operations and ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in tax-related processes and a strong understanding of general ledger management.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and manage corporate tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations
Handle sales tax calculations and filings to ensure accurate reporting
Create and reconcile journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliation and adjustments
Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Assist in developing and improving internal accounting procedures
Coordinate with external tax advisors when necessary to address complex tax issues
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial statements
Monitor and update tax-related policies to align with changes in legislation
Requirements:
Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and management
Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and processes
Proficiency in creating and reconciling journal entries
Hands-on experience with general ledger operations
Familiarity with corporate tax return procedures and requirements
Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
