Job Responsibility

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently to guarantee on-time payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements, addressing and resolving any discrepancies
  • Evaluate and approve employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and support audit preparation efforts
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment-related concerns
  • Perform account reconciliations to uphold financial data accuracy
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and sales tax documentation as required
  • Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel tools, including pivot tables, to manage accounting tasks effectively
  • Take on additional accounting duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts payable processes and vendor relationship management
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax returns and sales tax regulations
  • Proficiency in performing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts
  • Familiarity with accounting software, particularly NetSuite, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Ability to conduct account reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience with check runs and managing employee expense reports
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining financial records
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
