Staff Accountant

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments for efficient financial operations
• Help with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• internship experience considered
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger systems
• experience with ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, Workday) is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Proven experience in accounting, including journal entry preparation and general ledger management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and best practices
• Ability to work with precision and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Familiarity with accounting principles and compliance standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team
