Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for a well‑rounded accountant who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and getting involved across multiple areas of accounting. The position offers hands‑on exposure to core accounting functions and close collaboration with the broader finance team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform day‑to‑day accounting activities including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including monthly accruals
  • Complete account reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Support the month‑end close process
  • Assist with fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to multiple accounting functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but open to candidates with an Associate’s degree in Accounting and relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience supporting month‑end close processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
