Job Description:

A position with a real estate development company in Post Falls seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to support their growing accounting team in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Job Responsibility:

Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Assist with job cost accounting, project tracking, and budget-to-actual reporting
Support AP/AR processing and vendor management
Prepare and maintain financial reports for management and ownership
Collaborate with project managers on financial documentation and forecasts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate, construction, or development
Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
