Staff Accountant

• Reconcile accounts and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Analyze financial data, including assets and liabilities, to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Perform month-end close activities, including preparing expense accruals and reviewing operating statements
• Develop variance reports and provide insights as requested by management
• Prepare journal entries and document business transactions while compiling monthly and quarterly performance reports
• Review contracts, orders, and vouchers to identify discrepancies and variances
• Implement and document accounting procedures and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information in alignment with company standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to optimize workflows

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education
• 2+ years related accounting experience within manufacturing
• Cost accounting experience
• Microsoft Dynamics experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
