Job Description:

Are you a detail-driven and motivated accounting professional looking to kick-start your career? We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to support our client's growing finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for key accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment—perfect for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to build a strong foundation in accounting.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for financial transactions
Maintain and reconcile prepaid expense schedules
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review P&L accounts for accuracy
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in the general ledger
Assist with month-end close processes and support year-end audits
Conduct monthly variance analyses and assist with trend reporting
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines during closing cycles

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
0–3 years of accounting experience (internships count!)
Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
