Staff Accountant

• Process and enter approximately 1,800 invoices monthly using construction accounting software, such as Foundation
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, including the setup and maintenance of vendor and customer accounts
• Reconcile and digitize health insurance invoices across multiple divisions, ensuring accuracy
• Perform manual data entry from physical documents into the accounting system to support comprehensive data recovery
• Import, review, and reconcile financial records from external systems, integrating them into the primary accounting software
• Collaborate with teams across divisions to verify financial data and ensure proper allocation based on the chart of accounts
• Maintain detailed job costing records to ensure consistency and accuracy for ongoing construction projects
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as required during the data recovery process

• Previous experience in construction accounting or similar high-volume environments
• Proficiency in using Foundation or comparable construction accounting software
• Strong understanding of chart of accounts, job costing, and transaction coding
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling
• Ability to work onsite without remote or hybrid options
• Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
