Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounting processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate reconciliations.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct inter-company accounting and reconciliations to maintain consistency across organizational entities
  • Generate consolidated financial statements and assist in their analysis
  • Reconcile balance sheets and address discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting processes and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Participate in forecasting and financial modeling efforts to support strategic planning
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX and Excel to streamline accounting workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects to improve financial processes
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required
  • Certifications such as CPA or CMA, either in progress or completed, are preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX and advanced Excel skills is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • High level of initiative and a strong drive to achieve results

  • Track upcoming disbursements and share projected cash requirements with the finance team to support funding decisions and payment planning
  • Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready accounts payable documentation and vendor files
  • Work with internal partners to resolve invoice, approval, and payment issues while keeping workflows efficient and detail-focused
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting, tax-related requests, and management review, and contribute to process or system improvements as needed
