Job Description

Robert Half has partnered with a hospitality company in Greenwood Village in search of a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant position is paying $60,000-$70,000!

Job Responsibility

  • Create and set up new vendor accounts while adhering to established documentation guidelines
  • Conduct weekly check runs and record manual payments to ensure timely processing
  • Examine vendor accounts payable statements, request missing invoices, and resolve discrepancies
  • Record daily general ledger entries for cash, credit card, and sales transactions across multiple locations
  • Reconcile balance sheets for cash and credit card accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately posted
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports to license locations in accordance with agreements
  • File monthly sales tax returns with city and state authorities
  • Provide necessary documentation and assistance during annual audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 1+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOUPs, etc.)
