Job Description:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of accounting and contribute to the company's overall financial success.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
Support financial reporting and assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes
Support internal and external audit requests

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate environment preferred)
Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
