Job Responsibility:
Perform inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Conduct variance analyses and provide insights on discrepancies to support operational improvements
Oversee month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and general ledger maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory accounting processes
Monitor and maintain accurate records of annual inventory valuations
Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements within inventory accounting
Analyze financial data related to inventory and report findings to management
Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for inventory management accounting
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports with inventory-related details
Address and resolve inventory accounting issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
Proven experience in inventory accounting, including reconciliations and variance analysis
Strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts
Familiarity with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
Ability to work effectively in high-volume environments
Knowledge of annual inventory valuation practices and related accounting principles
