Staff Accountant

• Prepare accurate financial statements and oversee assigned tasks during the month-end close process
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and create journal entries to ensure data integrity
• Perform variance analysis and present findings to the Controller for review
• Ensure operational systems are aligned with the general ledger to maintain consistency
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to internal control documentation
• Compile cash flow reports and other management-related financial data as required
• Assist in fulfilling audit and tax-related data requests with precision
• Provide support for accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions when necessary

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, showcasing a solid grasp of core principles
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and understanding of financial systems
• Skilled in performing balance sheet reconciliations and preparing journal entries
• Familiarity with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes
• Advanced Excel capabilities to handle complex data efficiently
• Experience with accounting software such as Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics, or Great Plains is a plus
• Strong ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members
