Staff Accountant

• Oversee daily Accounts Receivable activities, including invoice creation, cash application, and account reconciliations
• Process and review royalty statements to guarantee timely and accurate payments in alignment with agreements
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for royalty contracts and ensure adherence to all terms
• Utilize Oracle systems to input AR transactions, generate detailed reports, and assist with month-end close procedures
• Monitor and analyze aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and escalate unresolved payment issues
• Support audit processes by preparing schedules and providing required documentation for AR and royalty transactions
• Prepare and present Accounts Receivable and royalty-related reports for management's review
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and streamline accounting operations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards in all financial processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, specifically in Accounts Receivable or royalties
• Proficiency in Oracle systems is required
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including managing large datasets and performing reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively across departments
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

Experience in the restaurant industry or similar corporate environments is a plus
