Staff Accountant

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records
• Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify balances and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory accounting processes to support operational efficiency
• Supervise and guide up to three accounting staff members, supporting their growth and development
• Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and reporting needs
• Analyze financial data and generate reports to support business decisions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in implementing and optimizing inventory software, such as Fishbowl, to streamline processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting and reporting
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries
• Experience with month-end close procedures and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with inventory accounting processes
• Ability to supervise and mentor entry-level staff effectively
