Staff Accountant

• Assist with the period-end close process by reviewing and completing assigned period-end functions while also performing reconciliations and maintaining documentation related to balance sheet accounts
• Perform period over period and year over year variance analysis for expense accounts
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic/quarterly basis
• Prepare period end journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Prepare reports for external departments
• Perform other work-related job duties as required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2 years accounting experience preferred not required
• CPA helpful but not required
