Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved efficiency
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
  • Assist with audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and financial models

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment

Nice to have

Experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct)
