Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will manage various accounting processes and contribute to the financial health of a growing retail business. Job Responsibility:

Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Maintain and analyze the general ledger to support financial reporting
Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to manage financial data
Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and compliance efforts
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Provide support for financial analysis and reporting as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-unit retail environment
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience with inventory accounting and POS systems is a plus
