Job Description:

Colleen McAuliffe from Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant who is fluent in Mandarin to join our clients growing finance team. Job Responsibility:

Perform month-end close activities, including preparing reconciliations and maintaining accurate documentation
Generate sales invoices and process billing adjustments after reviewing customer agreements
Monitor and manage cash applications to ensure accurate accounts receivable records
Oversee vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements with attention to detail
Conduct corporate credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Assist with inventory management and fixed asset tracking, including periodic cycle counts
Support accounting processes related to imported goods, duties, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Operations, HR, and Legal to address financial needs
Work with international teams to resolve accounting and system-related issues effectively
Contribute to audits, tax filings, and financial analysis as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
High ethical standards and a sense of accountability in work
Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal
Willingness to travel monthly to a company office and occasionally to other locations
