Job Description

Colleen McAuliffe from Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant who is fluent in Mandarin to join our clients growing finance team. Job Responsibility

  • Perform month-end close activities, including preparing reconciliations and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Generate sales invoices and process billing adjustments after reviewing customer agreements
  • Monitor and manage cash applications to ensure accurate accounts receivable records
  • Oversee vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements with attention to detail
  • Conduct corporate credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Assist with inventory management and fixed asset tracking, including periodic cycle counts
  • Support accounting processes related to imported goods, duties, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Operations, HR, and Legal to address financial needs
  • Work with international teams to resolve accounting and system-related issues effectively
  • Contribute to audits, tax filings, and financial analysis as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • High ethical standards and a sense of accountability in work
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel monthly to a company office and occasionally to other locations
