Staff Accountant

• Provide billing support by coordinating with the sales department to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Manage accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding payments and overseeing collection efforts
• Process cash applications to maintain accurate records of incoming payments
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of transactions and balances
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records
• Utilize QuickBooks software for efficient tracking and reporting of financial data
• Collaborate with team members to execute month-end close procedures
• Monitor and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and accurate recordkeeping
• Participate in software implementation projects to streamline accounting processes, if applicable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments
• Familiarity with journal entries and general ledger maintenance
• Experience with bank reconciliations and month-end close processes

Prior exposure to B2B collections is a plus
